18 & Under Sellersville Belles Gold

Jen had a very successful senior season in 2007 with the Sellersville Belles.  In the fall of 2006 she was able to show her abilities at both first and in the circle as pitcher.  The lefty from Freedom High School hopes to make an immediate impact at DeSales.  Good luck Jen!!

Coach Lee joins the Sellersville Belles for her first year in purple and teal.  Coach Lee comes to us from a season as an assistant coach for the Banshees Gold.  She is also the assistant varsity coach at Hatboro-Horsham High School.  Coach Lee will be responsible for the catchers and pitchers.

 Head coach Paul Koehler said, " Erika is going to make an tremendous impact of the Belles this season.  She is a catcher and our catchers will now be the best in the area.  The response to her in just our 3 tryouts that she attend was overwelmingly positive.  She loves the game and has a great sense of humor.  She will challenge our catchers to be the best they can be and will accept nothing less.  She will also work with our pitchers in helping them understand why they need to do certain things."

Welcome to the Sellersville Belles Coach Lee.

After a series of try outs that saw a total of over 50 players showcase their skills at Sellersville, the Sellersville Belles are proud to announce the 2008 roster.  This squad is a great mix of youth and experience, offense and defense, and speed and power.  When asked about the try outs Head Coach Paul Koehler commented, "The turnout was fantastic!  The most talented group of girls that I have ever seen at a Belles try out.  Picking this team was extremely difficult.  We passed on some quality players.  It was tough. My coaching staff can not wait to get this team on a field.   It is a special group and we are goig to start turning them into a team that hopefully will make some noise in the 18 & Under Class A division this year."

We again want to thank all of the players who attended our tryouts.  We also want to thank last year's Belles for setting a standard of excellence that attracted so many quality players.

The 2008 tryouts for the squad are finished.  The final tryout was rained out and no others are necessary.  The Sellersville Belles will be announcing the 2008 team in the next day or two.  We want to take this time to thank the 45 "non-Belles" who attended our tryouts.  The level of talent made the decisions on which players to keep extremely difficult.  To those who did not make the team, we wish you luck in finding a team that will meet your needs and we look forward to seeing you on a field this fall and/or spring and summer. 

... on Sunday, February 25th, 2007 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 104 Green St., Sellersville, PA. Doors will open at 12:30 PM with BINGO beginning at 1:30 PM. The proceeds go toward the cost of travel for the upcoming 2007 season when the Sellersville Belles will work to attend ASA Nationals in College Station, Texas. Tickets are $15.00 each. A four card set, extra cards will be available, 20 games of regular BINGO, 3 raffles, and door prizes. The Raffles include the Office Organizer Set. The 2007 Sweatheart Set including liner and protector will be featured in one of the 20 games; as well as, the Journel Basket Set including liner and protector. Pottery will also be featured. Food and refreshments. Paul "Coach K" Koehler will be the caller and it is said that it is the most entertaining Longaberger Basket BINGO you may ever attend. Come and see for yourself.
