2007 Sellersville Belles Named...

...and have "big shoes to fill." Yes, the 2007 Sellersville Belles will have high expectations for the coming season. The 2006 Belles set the bar as high as it has ever been by attending ASA Class A 18 & Under Nationals in Owensboro, KY. Setting a goal of anything less would not be of value. The challenge will be as tough this coming season as it has been in the past 13 years of our existence, with one exception - the Belles have "tasted" ASA Nationals and we desire to dine nowhere else. Who will be the players to continue this quest? You can click on our "Roster" tab and see who the 2007 Sellersville Belles will bring to battle to reach ASA Nationals. "This is a talented group of young ladies. We have a strong core of returning players that will assimilate very quickly the new Belles into our family. Our pitching should be stronger than it may ever have been and I think we will be solid defensively. The challenge is always offense and we return 4 of our top 5 producers on the offensive side. We are still looking for a strong catcher and we need to solidify third, but otherwise we will be strong," said Sellersville Belles head coach Paul Koehler. He continued, "Last years team was probably the most talented group that I have had the priviledge of coaching in 13 years of Belles Ball. This group may be able to eclipse the achievements of the 2006 Belles - but only time will tell."

Janelle Brey found a home as a Greyhound at Moravian College.  Or should we say she was most comfortable at home because she set multiple hitting records while at Moravian.  She set career, season, and game records for home runs, RBI, and slugginf percentage. image
