18 & Under Sellersville Belles Gold

... recuiting site.  In conjunction with our tournaments, the Sellersville Belles Showcase Team will use Captain U as a location for college coaches to find out more about our players.

The 2012 Sellersville Belles Showcase team has been selected as one of the 40 teams who have been given early selection to the 2012 Pennsbury Tournament.  164 teams applied for the 90 available spots.  Playing in the 2012 tournament marks the 10th consecutive year of participation in this, the most prestigious showcase tournament in the northeast.  Last year there were 225 college coaches in attendance.

The early selection to the Pennsbury Tournament is a tribute to the past Belles teams and their performances; the current coaching staff and their passion for and commitment to the game of fastpitch softball; and the expectation of highly competitive results from this season's Belles Showcase team.

Congrats to the Belles.  A hardy "THANK YOU" goes out the the Pennsbury Selection Committee.  Our selection is a statement that at Sellersville, "We do fastpitch right."

Huskie... Bloomsburg University Huskie that is.  Mandi will take her passion for the game and her abilities to play both infield and outfield to hope to make an impact in her first year for this perennially strong team.

University.  Candice is a big time shortstop and has decided to attend Coppin State University.  She looks to be a big part of the building of a strong softball program at Coppin State.

... the Eagles of Coppin State University.  "Big Sky" will join teammate Candice Van Horn at Coppin State.  Cheyenne takes her versatility behind the plate and in the outfield to Coppin State to also add to the growth of this program.
