18 & Under Sellersville Belles Gold

for Saturday, September 23rd, 2006 at B. Earl Druckenmiller Park on Maple Ave, in Sellersville, PA. The "Thrilla...III" will be the 3rd annual event that brings Division III college softball teams to Sellersville for a day of round robin softball. The has several benefits. First, the NCAA limits Division III teams to one day of competition. Coming to Sellersville gives them the opportunity to play anywhere from 4 to 4 games in that one day. Secondly, these coaches get an opportunity to see their new players and veterans and give them a chance to gel on the field. Finally, it give local softball fans and opportunity to see some Division III softball without having to travel. Fans can watch a whole day and see upwards of 9 different teams play at one location. This year's early entrants are Ursinus College, Moravian College, and Chestnut Hill College. Each year there are 8 or 9 teams that come to Sellersville. Admission to all games is free. Come see fastpitch softball at the next level.
